Rhino ATV

The Rhino ATV also known as the ‘Yamaha Rhino’, is an ‘All Terrain Vehicle’ brand from Yamaha Motor Company.  ‘Yamaha Rhino’ is one of the prominent brands from the company’s deepest line of ATV’s.   Yamaha started manufacturing ATV’s in 1980, wherein the company used its motorcycle and snowmobile expertise to manufacture the same. Since that, the brand Yamaha has become an industry master in terms of ATVs. In 2003, Yamaha manufactured its first Side-by-Side vehicle by introducing Rhino 660 to the list of Recreational vehicles.  Since then, this Rhino brand of ATV’s has seen phenomenal growth with negligible incidents.

The ‘rhino ATV’, was originally manufactured for the farmers, for the purpose of hauling feed and hay to their animals, it has been an inspirational tool for other manufacturers to adopt the side-by-side format.  Today, the vehicles are used in most of the recreational parks and thus having sought the apt name of being recreational vehicles rather than mere off-road vehicles. Most of them are Yamaha Rhinos. Since the inception of the Rhino brand of ATV’s in 2003, Yamahas sales are over 100,000 vehicles only in the U. S. itself.  The worldwide sales are yet to be accounted for. Even though several competitors have tried to match up to this offering of Yamaha, they cannot be considered even close to it.
